ClaireKramsch(2000) ever mentioned that Language is the carrier of culture, bearing rich national cultural connotations. As an important part of culture, the development and evolution of language is inseparable from the development of culture. The two are interdependent, influence and promote each other, and jointly promote new social changes. However, different countries or different regions of the same country have given birth to unique languages and cultures because of their unique historical, geographical and social backgrounds.Therefore, dialect is the product of geography and social environment. As a branch of language, it also bears rich regional culture, in other words, dialect is also an important perspective to explore national culture. Although language belongs to the category of culture, it is independent of culture. In the past, most of scholars tended to study the language itself in isolation, but neglected the exploration of the relationship between language and culture. Dialects and Chinese Culture (Zhou& You, 2006)puts forward the theory of "Cultural Linguistics" for the first time, and the author combines language with culture to explore their interaction in the process of historical evolution and development, so as to make up for the deficiency in the field of linguistics. This book provides a new reference for future linguistic and cultural studies.

The present paper is a reviewed paper that aims to study the impact of artificial intelligence on human society. Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence by software-coded heuristics in machines. There have been many researches which have studied that there is the impact of artificial intelligence on human society. It was found that artificial intelligence does influence human society and contributes to every field. In the health industry, many surgeries are performed under AI robots, and many tests are being conducted, for mental health and also for different counseling purposes chatbots are being used. Many AI technologies are used in factories, service sectors, and transportation to reduce human errors and boost the economy. However, on the other hand, there is a higher chance of Al’s infringement on human rights, and it is the biggest concern of many intellectuals. Artificial Consciousness is also a debatable subject that can AI replicate human consciousness which is the result of a long evolutionary process? We can conclude that artificial intelligence is indeed the future of humanity, it can turn the highest possible timeline and also can catapult us into the worst timeline. It depends on people how they would use it.

The emergence of various standard agreements in todays society is a serious question regarding implementing the principle of balance in these standard agreements. Such as the partnership agreement regarding the exploitation and use of SPPBE between PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Rejeki Berkah Empat Putra (PT. RBEP), where the agreement was made unilaterally and needed to be analyzed regarding the implementation of the principle of balance. This legal journal aims to determine whether the principle of balance has been accommodated in the agreement on the exploitation and use of the SPPBE and legal protection for parties who only have to sign the partnership agreement made unilaterally. The implementation of the principle of balance in the agreement on the exploitation and use of SPPBE between PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT RBEP has not been fully accommodated because the agreement contains illogical provisions regarding the rights and obligations imposed on PT RBEP as the second party. The agreement contains an exoneration clause that is burdensome for one of the parties, namely the existence of provisions on rights and obligations that need to be revised, and the implementation of the agreement is also illogical because it does not fulfill the principle of objective good faith. Legal protection for parties who only have to sign the partnership agreement made unilaterally is based on the principle of good faith. So, the form of legal protection is to set aside the agreements contents in the form of cancellation of the agreement in which PT RBEP can file it with the court.

This research employs psychoanalytic methods to explore themes of decadence and crisis in Ted Hughes’ “Relic” and T.S. Eliot’s “The Hollow Men”. Drawing from Freudian and Jungian theories, it delves into the psychological aspects to reveal expressions of the despair of modernity. The paper illustrates underlying psychological decay within the poems, examining subconscious motives, suppressed desires, and conflicts. Through this exploration, intricate psychological states contributing to perceptions of crisis come to light. Highlighting these literary pieces as reflections of contemporary turmoil, the poems expose the erosion of both individual and collective identities. By using the lens of psychoanalysis, a deeper understanding of the interplay between the human psyche and society emerges, offering insights into the profound implications of modern decadence and crisis. Ultimately, the application of psychoanalysis enriches comprehension of the connections between psychological intricacies and societal disintegration, shedding light on the significance of the poets’ selected works.

The research is motivated by the limited adoption of digital learning media and the continued reliance of science instructors on printed materials like as worksheets and less interactive learning media for teaching excretion system topics. Hence, the present study was undertaken with the objective of developing educational digital media utilizing the Canva program, which would be deemed reliable for implementation as a supplementary learning tool for the excretory system curriculum. This study employs the research and development approach utilizing the ADDIE Development Model, which encompasses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. The research employed a questionnaire as the primary instrument to assess the media validation and student feedback about the learning materials that were created. The findings of the media validation test indicated that the percentage result obtained was 75%. This suggests that the learning media that was generated is deemed legitimate for use in scientific education, specifically for teaching the excretion system topic. The assessment exam administered to the pupils yielded a score of 80.6. Based on the obtained percentages, it can be inferred that the generated learning media may be classified as satisfactory.

Quing invasion of Joseon or the Second Manchu invasion of Korea (Joseon) in 1636 has been studied by many South Korean scholars and other countries. However, studying this war through a historical literary work, specifically through the dishes that appear in the literary work written about this war, is a new, interesting and still open approach. Therefore, this article focuses on examining the dishes that appear in the novel The Fortress (2021) by writer Kim Hoon to show through them the fierceness, misery and hardship of the Joseon people in the last days of 1936 and early 1937.

The study investigated the influence of test item ordering on academic achievement in English language and Mathematics in unity schools in North-East, Nigeria. The study was experimental. The population comprised all the 5403 JSS 3 students in unity schools in North-East, Nigeria. A sample of 600 JSS 3 students was used. Two instruments, each prepared in three different formats were used for the study viz: (1) Mathematics Achievement Test and (2) English Language Achievement each of the test was prepared in three formats following the ways the items were arranged (1) Easy to difficult (ETD), (2) Difficult to easy (DTE), and (3) Mixed difficulty indices (MDI). The instruments were validated by four experts; two in measurement and evaluation, one in mathematics, and one in English language. Test-retest reliability was used to establish reliability indices of the two instruments. The reliability estimates that were obtained for the Mathematics achievement test are as follows: format 0.512, for format ETD, 0.849 for DTE and 0.718 for MDI. The reliability estimates that were obtained for the English Language achievement test are as follows: 0.728 for format ETD, 0.669 for format DTE and 0.877 for format MDI. ANOVA was used to test the null hypotheses. The major finding of the study were: (1) the results showed that JSS 3 students that were exposed to Difficult to easy (DTE) format in Mathematics had the highest mean achievement scores. (2) There was a significant difference between the mean achievement scores in English language of JSS 3 students exposed to different orderings of the items in favour of DTE test item format. Based on the findings, it was recommended that English Language tests items should be ordered from the difficult ones to the easy ones since the highest academic achievement of students was recorded using this method and that Mathematics tests items should be ordered from the easy ones to the difficult ones since the highest academic achievement of students was recorded using this method.

Text linguistics, which is one of the relevant fields of linguistics in our modern times, was born in the 20s of the 20th century and began to be formed in the 50s and 80s. As the name suggests, the main research object of text linguistics is the text itself. If we consider the word text in general, the word text can have two different meanings. That is, this word can be considered to be both in a broad sense - macrotext, and in its opposite narrow sense - microtext. The microtexts in a narrow sense combine to form macrotexts with a broad meaning. In this case, the concept of complex syntactic whole coincides with the concept of microtext. So, macrotexts are a collection of complex syntactic entities. While a single sentence expresses a complete idea, a complex syntactic whole expresses a complex idea, any particular information. Complex syntactic whole is a syntactic unit in which two or more sentences are connected by syntactic and formal relations. The group of sentences forming the basis of the text has been named by different scholars with different terms. For example, V.G. Kolshansky paragraph, I.R. Galperin, I.O. Moskalskaya discourse, K. Abdullayev complex syntactic whole, V. G. Admoni large syntactic whole and others used different terms. The term complex syntactic whole is more appropriate as the sentences in the text form certain unified whole.

The goal of the present research was to determine if a Brain-Based Growth Mindset Pilot Intervention implemented in a juvenile detention facility could change a set of beliefs surrounding self-efficacy and knowledge over one’s brain. Previous studies show that growth mindset interventions are most effective with youth from low socioeconomic households, and targeting changes in beliefs is particularly effective during adolescence because of the developmental milestones that accompany puberty. Detained juveniles tend to be adolescent minorities of low-income backgrounds with a higher number of adverse childhood experiences. Twenty-six detained juveniles participated in the pilot intervention. The intervention consisted of four, 30-minute lessons on neuroanatomy of the brain, neural plasticity, emotional regulation, and long-term neuronal development. Impact of the intervention was quantified by a Brain Health Intervention Scale (BHIS). The scale consisted of 31 affirm/deny statements that were designed to measure the knowledge gained or opinion changed by the participant about the brain. Analysis of pre- and postintervention scores on the BHIS indicate that this pilot intervention was a success with significant increases in knowledge from preintervention scores to post- intervention scores. Success in the intervention was negatively correlated with the number of previous detainments. Interventions that occur within the context of juvenile detentions must occur early, before multiple detainments have made it difficult to reverse the fixed mindset in previously detained youth. Results add further evidence that successful growth mindset interventions can be low-cost and light-touch. Brain-based growth mindset interventions must be explored early on as a diversion alternative for juvenile offenders.

The destruction of evidence in the form of narcotics is one of the efforts to prevent the eradication of narcotics abuse in Indonesia, including preventing the abuse of authority by officials who handle criminal cases and so on. One of the law enforcers who carry out efforts to combat narcotics crime is the Attorney Generals Office. In carrying out the destruction of evidence obtained from narcotics crimes by the Prosecutor, the Prosecutor must comply with the procedures regulated by the laws and regulations in force in Indonesia as a legal basis for carrying out his roles and functions in order to achieve the goals and aspirations of eradicating narcotics and other addictive substances. The results of the study show that the prosecutors authority as the executor in carrying out the destruction of confiscated goods resulting from narcotics crime is that the prosecutor has state power that is independent from the influence of government power and other powers. The destruction of confiscated goods to prevent the re-circulation of narcotics crimes in the community is to destroy the confiscated goods in the form of narcotics. Obstacles in the implementation of the destruction of confiscated narcotics crimes so as to provide the possibility of misappropriation of narcotic evidence are seen in aspects of law enforcement, if fulfilled then the law regarding narcotics crimes in the scope of implementing the destruction of narcotics confiscated goods will be considered to have been effective.

Using a combination of Cognitive Semantics Analysis and Qualitative Methods, the study aims to unveil the various aspects of affection, companionship, and attachment within the lingual-cultural context of these idiomatic expressions. Through careful analysis of the cognitive structures and linguistic subtleties that underlie them, this research significantly contributes to our understanding of how traditional sayings conceptualize and convey love. The findings reveal the intricate connection between language, culture, and human emotions, providing a richer and more nuanced understanding of this timeless sentiment, which is as precious as “the apple of our eye.” Specifically, in this study, a multitude of captivating discoveries have been made regarding how love is represented in proverbial expressions: (1) specific emotions that are commonly associated with love, such as “journey,” “flame,” and “delicate touch,” were found to be particularly emphasized; (2) evocative connotations like “blood affinity,” “magical or totality,” and “logical consequence of the act of loving” were frequently utilized in the context of love; and (3) patterns about the relationship between language structures and human emotions were identified in the analyzed proverbs. Future study examining proverbs in diverse languages can greatly enhance our understanding of this topic and enable us to compare findings across languages.

In addition to having rights and obligations as stipulated in the Notary Office Law, notaries are also given additional obligations in the context of preventing and eradicating money laundering, namely as reporting party and must report deeds that tend to be a process of money laundering. However, there is a legal issue of conflicting norms because as we know that a Notary is obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the deeds of service users. So that the purpose of this legal scientific research article is to find out whether all deeds must be reported by a Notary in the prevention of Money Laundering Crimes and how the position of a Notary as a reporter is seen from the point of view of the principle of confidentiality in his position. The results of this legal scientific research article state that first, Deeds that must be reported by a Notary to the authorized official are the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center, namely Sale and Purchase Agreements, Deeds of Sale and Purchase of Shares, Deed of Sale and Purchase of Assets, Deed of Establishment of a Limited Liability Company, Deed of Binding of Sale and Purchase, Deed of Establishment of Foundations, Deed of Establishment of Cooperatives, also Authorization of Selling and Authorization of Directors, which are in essence closely related to the crime of money laundering. Second, the principle or principle of secrecy as stipulated in Article 16 paragraph (1) letter f does not have absolute force, because there is a norm which explains that "unless the law determines otherwise". Notaries are expected to be able to identify authentic deeds that have a high risk or tendency of money laundering and for deeds that have allegations of money laundering. Notaries are expected not to hesitate to report to Indonesian Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center or INTRAC to prevent money laundering.

This thesis research uses Empirical Legal Research, which analyzes the responsibility of the land office due to the issuance of multiple certificates in the Denpasar city land office. The formulation of the problem in this thesis research is 1) How is the responsibility of the Denpasar City Land Office due to the issuance of multiple certificates? 2) How is the disclosure of disputes revealed the existence of double certificates in the Denpasar city land office? As an analytical knife to discuss this matter, the Theory of Legal Certainty, Authority Theory, Law Enforcement Theory, and Dispute Resolution Theory is used and uses the Statute Approach, case approach, fact approach, and historical approach. The conclusion of this research is that the form of responsibility that can be carried out by the Denpasar City Land Office in the double certificate dispute in Denpasar City is that the Land Office is absolutely responsible for being responsible both inside and outside the court either as a witness, defendant or plaintiff. In addition, the Land Office is morally and materially responsible, as well as administrative sanctions in the form of dismissal of Land Office staff who are negligent in carrying out their duties. And in the settlement of disputes over dual certificates in the Denpasar City Land Office, the Denpasar City Land Office resolves through litigation (judicial) or uses nonlitigation channels, which non-litigation channels use arbitration, mediation, negotiation to the parties to the dispute and determine an agreement between the parties. And if the case has used the trial route, the National Land Agency and the Denpasar City Land Office will prioritize both parties to the dispute, especially for those who are declared losers in the trial and can be canceled certificates that are proven to be administratively defective or deliberately re-registered.

Women’s health is not only critical for women but for their families and communities at large. The importance of and focus on women’s health is reflected on the different national and international development agendas. However, the social construction of gender and the eventual development of gender stereotypes directly and/or indirectly affects the health of women. This paper focuses on gender stereotypes and women’s health in the Buea Municipality of the South West Region of Cameroon. Through a stratified convenient sampling prsscedure to select 108 women, the paper uses the Harvard Analytical Framework and Leveque’s Conceptual Framework of Access to Health to interrogate the theme and with the help of a questionnaire. Different gender stereotypes were identified that put the woman as responsible for care and family well-being no matter her condition. This proved to affect their health through stress, ill health, self-medication, mental health challenges etc.
